If you like fall weather, this weekend isgoing to be perfect for you, but as we warm back into the 80s next week, we'llcontinue our run into the record books as far as the heat is concerned.

As of Thursday, Rockfordhas seen 99 days with highs at or above 80 degrees. We're on pace to break intothe top 10 by the time the heat comes to an end later in the coming months.Check out the full list below.

The other record we're keeping an eye on is the average temperature in Rockford this year. Whenyou average all of our highs and lows together, you end up with a temperature ofjust over 57 degrees. It may not seem like much, but it’s over 2.5 degreeswarmer than the all-time record. In fact, when you look at the top 5, thisrecord could get destroyed unless things start to cool off soon.
