Devastation continues in the northeast from the aftermath of Sandy.  Millions are still without power, towns remain under water, close to 90 U.S. fatalities and cold air is expected to move in for the weekend.  As clean up efforts continue Meteorologists are already eyeing the potential for another storm system to move up the east coast by the middle of next week.
Both the American GFS and European computer models are suggesting that the low passing to our south this weekend will will get caught up in the jet stream in the southeast and lift north along the eastern seaboard before moving inland close to where Sandy made landfall just earlier this week.  While the magnitude of this next potential storm won't be as significant or devastating as Sandy it would still mean an increase in wind, rain and possible coastal flooding to an area still dealing with the effects of Sandy.
